Public Library
The library has 7,100 selections and is open eight hours per week. The library also contains a collection of pictures, artifacts, and memorabilia reflecting the history of Manilla. The hours are 2:00-5:00 P.M. on Wednesdays and 9:00-11:00 A.M. and 2:00-5:00 P.M. on Saturdays.

Churches

The Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 889 3rd Avenue. Church is at 9:00 A.M. Christian Education Hour 10:15 A.M.	The United Church of Manilla is located at 559 5th Street. Church at 9:00 A.M. Sunday School at 10:00 A.M. Youth on Wednesday at 6:00pm	The Sacred Heart Catholic Church is located at 555 3rd Avenue. Mass daily at 7:30 A.M. Mass on Saturday's at 5:30 P.M. Mass on Sunday's at 9:00 A.M. CCD Classes are on Wednesday's at 7:00 P.M.

Manilla Services
Manilla offers many services typically offered in larger communities. Local Police, Fire, and First Responder services enhance the daily lives of area residents. The city is in the unique position of being the electric, natural gas, and cable television provider for the community. Manilla is served by a locally owned phone company: Farmers Mutual Cooperative Telephone Company. Several licensed and registered day care providers are located in Manilla. Two hospitals are within 15 minutes of Manilla. Clinical services, home health care options, and dental services locally are available as well. Substance abuse treatment is available at the Manning Family Recovery Center, located at the Manning General Hospital. Dental service is locally available. *The Manilla Manor* is a conveniently located 60 bed skilled nursing care facility. Manilla Manor employs around-the-clock staff of 70 to 75 people.**
