offered in larger communities. Local Police, Fire, and First Responder services enhance
the daily lives of area residents. The city is in the unique position of being the
electric,
natural gas, and cable television
provider for the community. Manilla is served by a locally owned phone
company:
Farmers Mutual Cooperative Telephone Company. Several licensed and registered day care providers are located in Manilla. Two hospitals are within 15 minutes of Manilla. Clinical services, home health care options, and dental services locally are available as well. Substance abuse treatment is available at the Manning Family Recovery Center, located at the Manning General Hospital. Dental service is locally available. The Manilla Manor is a conveniently located 60 bed skilled nursing care facility. Manilla Manor employs around-the-clock staff of 70 to 75 people. |
