Welcome to Manilla, Iowa "The town people pull for"
Proud of our community Proud of our heritage |
Look forward to information about the time capsule being
buried for the next 25 years and a financial report sometime
after August 1. If someone has items to be enclosed, please
let Pat and Barb Wuestewald know by mail at P.O. Box 152,
Manilla or at mooch@fmctc.com Any video taken during the
celebration would be appreciated to add to a DVD to be made
by Wayne Saunders to put in the time capsule.
Community Information--As the Manilla Times is scheduled to
be closed as of July 31, passing on information will be more
difficult. We are investigating the possibility of another
buyer or investors to keep a good thing going. Anyone
interested could contact the Manilla Economic Development
Corporation.
